Teenager charged with vehicle damage in Stevenage

A 14 year old boy has been charged with seven offences of criminal damage following an extensive investigation, after a number of vehicles were targeted in the Shephall View carpark at the end of August last year.

The boy will appear at youth court later this month.

Investigating officer Lukas Hasse, who is the local officer for the area said: “Vehicle crime has a significant impact on people’s lives, and I would like to thank everyone who assisted with this investigation providing information and CCTV footage.

“We are committed to tackling vehicle crime in Stevenage, and I hope this result reassures local residents that we do take this type of crime seriously.”
